HVAC Coordinator

Karlskogahem AB is a wholly owned municipal company founded in 1946.

Our portfolio includes approximately 2,600 residential apartments and about 42,000 square meters of commercial space. The premises consist of group homes, offices, and retail spaces. Karlskogahem's revenue amounted to 257 million SEK in 2024, and we currently employ about 45 people on a full-time basis.

About the position

As an HVAC Coordinator at Karlskogahem, you will play a central role in ensuring the operation and development of the company's HVAC systems. You will serve as an important support function to the management organization and have a varied workday. You will both plan and operationally drive maintenance and development projects within the HVAC field, but you can also lead other types of maintenance projects.

Examples of tasks:

  • Be responsible for supervision and maintenance of the company's HVAC systems
  • Plan and follow up on the budget for maintenance measures within HVAC
  • Handle unforeseen events
  • Be the contact person for HVAC-related issues in larger projects
  • Lead budgeted measures within HVAC
  • Manage energy statistics and work on operational optimization
  • Act as a sounding board for the service department on issues related to heating, water, and sewage
  • Be responsible for permits for hot work and responsible for our sprinkler systems

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with relevant education in HVAC or property technology, or alternatively, substantial work experience in the field. We prefer that you have experience in property management, project management, and energy efficiency. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To succeed in this role, you are:

  • Structured and responsible
  • Proactive and flexible with the ability to handle multiple parallel assignments
  • Communicative and easy to collaborate with both colleagues, tenants, and contractors
  • Experienced in working digitally and handling administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Driver's license B
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite

More information and application:

You will belong to our property department, which is responsible for the maintenance and operation of our properties. We are also responsible for new construction and renovations as well as the premises in our portfolio. You will have the opportunity to contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient property solutions.

The team currently consists of eight dedicated employees with very good knowledge in their respective areas. In the team, we are unpretentious and collaborate to help each other succeed in our assignments. Your personal qualities are important for this position.

This is a permanent full-time position, and we usually apply a six-month probationary period. The work is scheduled during the day with the possibility of flexible hours.
